Jamaica PROSPER cross-trains 1,000 experienced Jamaican tradesmen and women to become Master Builders of Resilience—versatile professionals certified across all essential construction and recovery trades.

Unlike workers specialized in a single trade, our Master Builders complete comprehensive cross-training across four core disciplines:

  • 🌳 Tree Service & Environmental Safety - Hurricane debris clearing, road reopening, reforestation

  • 🏗️ Carpentry & Hurricane-Resistant Construction - Roof replacement, structural repair, complete home building

  • ⚡ Electrical Systems & Solar Integration - Power restoration, renewable energy installation

  • 🚰 Plumbing & Water Systems - Complete home plumbing, water conservation, rainwater harvesting

The Result: A workforce of Master Builders capable of complete home restoration from foundation to solar panels—amplifying government disaster relief programs and converting MLSS grants into tangible reconstruction outcomes.
